Padangbai has always been a place people pass through.

For Gita, it was home.

Born in 1996 in this small harbor town in Bali, she grew up watching boats leave every day carrying travelers to islands like Gili, Nusa Penida, and Lombok.

For most, Padangbai was just a departure point.

For her, it was the beginning of every story.

While studying Tourism Management, Gita joined tourism research projects from 2014 to 2018 under the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism.

These experiences took her across Indonesia — giving her a deeper understanding of how travel works behind the scenes.

Along the way, she began to notice a gap.

Many travelers wanted to explore beyond Bali, but finding reliable and trustworthy travel services wasn’t always easy.

At the same time, she realized something more personal.

Most people never truly saw Padangbai.

They arrived, waited for their boat, and left — missing the quiet beaches, local temples, and the charm of a small coastal village that still holds the feeling of old Bali.

That idea stayed with her.

In 2015, while still a student, she started small — selling fast boat tickets and snorkeling trip through Instagram under the name Wonder Blue Trip.

Her first international booking came from a couple from the UK, Hannah & Lee Clarke — a simple moment that quietly marked the beginning of something bigger.

What started as a side project slowly grew.

Today, it has evolved into Padangbai Travel Hub — a platform built to make island travel simple, reliable, and more meaningful.

Not just helping travelers reach their next destination, but inviting them to experience where the journey begins.
